GSE Article Management
With the optional GSE Article Management module you define the ink requirements for a specific print design — an “article”. Enter the number of articles wanted and the software calculates the required ink weight per formula automatically.
Where a printed product is ordered repeatedly, defining it once as an article means only the quantity has to be entered next time.

Ink quantity per formula and the press to be used are held against the article, ready for the next order.
Calculates from coverage
The software works out the printed surface area covered by each colour from length, width and coverage factor.
Absorption factor
Supplied with the optional absorption factor, it calculates the ink requirement more precisely still.
Costs before and after
Enter base component purchase prices and the ink cost of an order can be pre-calculated, then compared against actual consumption with press returns subtracted.
