Bag Making Machines for Sacks & Pouches
B&B bag making machines for converters and bag producers in Pakistan: the SFB-WPP for woven PP pinch-bottom sacks, the STBB for stand-up pouches and the SFB for side gusset bags. This page covers B&B machines that convert woven PP fabric or printed and laminated film into finished bags and pouches. They are not tape extrusion lines, circular looms or plastic carry-bag machines. For the rest of a PP woven sack line — flat yarn extrusion, tubing, lamination, printing, cutting and sewing — see Botheven; for paper bags, see Garant.
What is a bag making machine?

A bag making machine converts a roll of printed fabric or film into finished bags or pouches. It forms the bag, seals or folds its seams and bottom, adds features such as reclosures, handles or spouts, and cuts each bag from the web. The same principle runs a plastic bag making machine and a woven sack machine.
- Unwind the printed roll of woven fabric or film.
- Form the bag: fold the sides, gussets or bottom.
- Seal or fold the seams and the bottom.
- Add inline features such as reclosures, handles, spouts or perforation.
- Cut each bag from the web and stack or pack it.
Woven sack converters need one to make sacks for cement, fertilizer, grain and animal feed from woven PP fabric (fabric woven from flat polypropylene tapes).
Flexible-packaging converters need one to make pouches and gusseted bags for food, liquids, pet food and consumer goods from laminated or mono-material film (film made from a single plastic family such as PE, which is easier to recycle).
Woven pinch-bottom vs stand-up pouch vs side gusset at a glance
The three B&B machine families make different bags from different materials. A pinch-bottom bag has a bottom folded over and heat-sealed rather than sewn; a stand-up pouch, also called a doypack, has a gusseted base so it stands on a shelf; a side gusset bag has folded-in sides that let it expand.

For a PP woven bag production line, K Group also represents Botheven, whose machines cover flat yarn extrusion, tubing, lamination, PP woven printing, cutting and sewing, valve bags and jumbo or FIBC bags. Together with the B&B SFB-WPP for pinch-bottom bags, that gives a woven sack making machine for each of these stages from one authorized agent in Pakistan.
Which bag making machine is right for you?
The right machine follows from the bag you sell and the material you make it from. Five questions settle it, and we ask all five before quoting.
What bag, for what product? Heavy, free-flowing goods such as cement, fertilizer or rice point to a woven pinch-bottom sack. Food and liquids point to a stand-up pouch. Pet food and consumer goods often go in side gusset bags.
Woven fabric or film? The SFB-WPP runs woven PP fabric. The STBB and SFB run film, so if you need a pouch making machine for laminates or mono-material film, the choice is between those two.
How often do you change formats? B&B lists recipe management and semi-automatic format changeover on the SFB-WPP and SFB. The more formats you run, the more time these save at every change.
Which features must be built in? Reclosures, spouts, handles and laser perforation can all be added on the machine. Inline spout insertion, for example, fits the pouring spout on the STBB itself, so the pouch needs no second machine or handling step.
How much end-of-line automation? B&B states that its LEAP robotic packaging handles, groups and packs finished bags automatically, raising throughput and consistency and freeing operators from repetitive end-of-line work.
Bag making machine price in Pakistan: what determines it
There is no list price: the quote is built from the bag type, material, output, options and automation you need. Two converters asking for the same machine family can be quoted very differently. These are the factors that move the number.
Bag type and machine family set the starting point. A woven pinch-bottom machine, a stand-up pouch machine and a side gusset machine are different machines, not options on one.
Material decides the sealing and handling equipment: woven PP fabric, composite laminates and mono-material films each need their own set-up.
Output and lanes scale the machine. A pouch machine running more lanes side by side makes more bags per cycle and costs more to build.
Inline options such as reclosures, spouts, handles, flat bottoms and laser perforation each add a station to the machine, and each removes a separate process from your floor.
Inspection and quality control — cameras, sensors, leak testing and automatic rejection of defective bags — add cost and cut waste and complaints.
Format changeover and automation add cost and buy back time: recipe management, semi-automatic format change, non-stop roll change and LEAP robotic packing.
Cleanroom build, installation, commissioning and training are real line items and should be in the quote from the start.
Tell us the bags you make and the volume you need, and we will come back with a specification and a price for it.
Bag making machines: common questions
What is a bag making machine?
A bag making machine converts a roll of material into finished bags or pouches. It unwinds woven fabric or printed and laminated film, forms the shape, seals or folds the bottom and sides, adds features such as reclosures, handles or spouts, and cuts each bag off. The machine and its options depend on the bag type and the material.
What is the difference between a bag making machine and a PP woven bag production line?
A PP woven bag production line covers every step from granules to sack: tape extrusion, weaving, lamination, printing, then cutting and closing the bag. A bag making machine is the last of those steps. B&B SFB-WPP machines take flat woven PP fabric with a BOPP coating and turn it into finished pinch-bottom bags. K Group also represents Botheven for flat yarn, tubing, lamination, printing, cutting and sewing.
What is the price of a bag making machine in Pakistan?
A bag making machine is not a catalogue item, so there is no fixed price. The quote depends on the bag type, the material, the output you need, the number of lanes, inline options such as reclosures, spouts or handles, inspection, and end-of-line automation. See what determines the price above, then speak to a specialist for a specification and a quotation.
Which materials do B&B bag making machines run?
The SFB-WPP runs woven PP fabric with a BOPP coating. The STBB runs PET/Alu/PE, PET/PE, PP and other composite films, as well as sustainable mono-films. The SFB runs laminated and mono-material films, including PE/PE, MDO-PE/PE and PET/PE. Which machine fits depends on the bag you want to make and the material it is made from.
Who supplies B&B bag making machines in Pakistan?
K Group is the authorized agent for B&B in Pakistan. B&B is a German builder of bag-making and packaging machines for flexible packaging. K Group supplies the SFB-WPP for woven pinch-bottom bags, the STBB for stand-up pouches and the SFB for side gusset bags, and supports them locally with sales consultation, installation, service, spare parts and training.
