For users who want to manage ink logistics externally as well as internally, the optional GSE Advanced Logistics module provides the information and tools to plan, order and book in the base components delivered by your ink supplier.
This lets ink batches be traced through the value chain and removes a layer of administrative error.
Inside GSE Advanced Logistics
Component demand
Shows the quantity of base components needed to dispense the jobs currently scheduled in the job list.
Purchase orders
When stock falls below a predefined minimum, the software suggests the base components to be purchased on the next order.
Delivery and use
New barrels are booked in on arrival with batch code, expiry date and delivered weight. When a connected component runs empty the operator selects the next barrel.
Inventory
Stock is tracked against real deliveries and real consumption rather than an estimate.
