GSE Return Ink Management
Leftovers, or press return inks, can according to GSE account for up to one-third of the quantity dispensed. It is not uncommon to see a converter's ink store full of partly used containers that are eventually thrown away if that exact colour is never used again.
The optional GSE Return Ink Management module recycles those inks into new dispense jobs in the most efficient way — by container, or by “cluster” — guiding the operator step by step through the process.

Reuse by container
Each container of dispensed ink carries a unique identification number and is allocated to a printing job. Once the job is done the operator weighs the container back in.
Reuse by cluster
Returns are grouped with indices for different formulas, so a leftover can feed a recipe it was not originally mixed for.
Cart weighing
Return containers are weighed back into stock so the recorded inventory matches what is physically on the shelf.
Prepare and reserve
Returns can be prepared ahead of a run and reserved against a specific job rather than being found by chance.
